Frequently Asked Questions:
We've compiled a list of commonly asked questions and answers about purchasing products, industry standard terms and other information that will help you with understanding the business of merchandise asset liquidations.
Q: What is liquidation merchandise?
A: Liquidation (also known as Salvage, Secondary, Distressed Products, Asset Recovery, or Resell): Items that are not considered first quality saleable products for retail stores.
Q: How much damages are there in truck-load or pallet purchases?
A: Damages, also known as "throwaways" will vary from load to load. There's really no way to determine which loads consisting of customer returns will have less damages than others. However, mail order returns will typically have 13% or less of throwaways.
Q: What about closeouts and salvages, what's the difference?
A: Salvages typically consist of customer returns or even warehouse damages; there are usually distressed products that the retailers consider no longer first quality. Salvage and customer return products will usually be marked with stickers or affixed tags from the returns processors on the manufacturer's packaging. Closeouts, however, consist of excess inventories containing new items, shelf-pulls, overstock merchandise and out of season products. With closeouts, most of the closeout merchandise is in perfect, first quality condition with retail tags and labels. Closeout merchandise is not customer returns or salvages.
Q: Can I see the products before purchasing?
A: We ship the product loads directly from the retailer's reclamation centers or returns processors to your business or home location. Unfortunately, retailers do not allow visitors into their RMA warehouses either way. However, in the event that we have a buyer that's not able to commit to a buy, we then may have those products stored for your viewing by appointment only.

Q: What is M.O.Q.?
A: Minimum Order Quantity: Most products are sold in 53' truckload lots of 24 - 48 pallets per shipment so that the buyer can obtain the most value for their purchase in terms of freight cost.
Q: What is F.O.B.?
A: Freight On Board: Describes the location of city and state where the product is warehoused and shipped to the buyer from the returns processor or reclamation center.
Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: No, however, you will need to provide us your Federal Corporate I.D. # and your State Tax Exemption Resale Certificate if you and/or your business resides in the same state that the products are sold and shipped from or if you and/or your business resides in the state of Virginia.
Q: Do you ship internationally?

Q: What forms of payment do you take?
A: We except Bank Wire Transfer, Cash or Certified Funds for first time buyers. Certified Checks will require 10-day hold for funds to process before shipping their products. Qualified buyers may pay by VISA, MASTERCARD or Paypal but are obligated to the merchant services fees associated.
Q: How will I know if my products have shipped?
A: We will provide you a unique tracking number for your shipment and the assigned common carrier CSR (Customer Service Rep.) will custom handle your shipment so you will be able to track your freight from beginning to end.
Q: Can I arrange my own shipping and who pays for it?
A: Buyer's are fully responsible for freight costs and any incurring costs associated with the shipment. We do encourage our buyers to arrange their own freight. However, due to the volume and experience in the freight business, our rates provided are typically the most competitive found in the freighting industry.
Q: Are all products listed on the "Products" page currently available?
